The “Gently Folded” cutlery set, designed by Riccardo Orsini and Fabio Alberghina, originates from a research process exploring the act of setting the table. The project draws on the careful gestures used to fold a fabric napkin, translating them into three objects that balance functionality, industrial reproducibility, hygiene, and the legibility of use.
On April 19, 2026, the collection was presented in Milan through an interactive dinner, where guests were invited to engage with the pieces in their unfolded state. The event was curated by Costanza Nizzi and Gaia Anselmi Tamburini, with chef Simone Forestieri overseeing the menu.
